The event features a long-distance ‘Round the Bay Rally’ , and short course racing. The regatta is open to all off-the-beach sailing craft and welcomes sailors of all experience levels.

The event is organized by Vincentia Sailing Club and governed by World Sailing Racing Rules 2025–2028. Competitors must be members of the Australian Formula 16 Association.
